Trevor Gabel-Baird

Nurse Practitioner

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and I recently moved to South Carolina from Michigan after graduating with my doctorate in nursing practice from Michigan State University in May of 2023.

I received my bachelor of science in nursing from Grand Valley State University in December 2018. After graduating with my BSN, I started working as an ICU nurse and continued that while going to grad school. In my free time,

I enjoy playing all types of games, staying active, and spending time with my family, my husband Matthew, and my chocolate lab Nestle. As a medical provider, I firmly believe that healthcare is a basic human right, and could not be more excited to be a part of an organization that provides exceptional care to South Carolina residents. My favorite part of being a nurse practitioner is partnering with my patients and creating a safe and supportive environment to help them meet their healthcare goals.

Heather Urie

Dr. Will Largen

Physician

Dr. Will Largen is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in infectious disease at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has a strong passion for managing the complexities of HIV care, including the special psycho-social support it requires. Dr. Largen’s goal is to provide exceptional HIV care in a caring environment that emphasizes medication adherence and fosters a community of support.

Kimberly Russ

Director of Medical Services

I am a native South Carolinian with 29 years of experience in healthcare management. I pursued my education at Lander University and earned a medical coding certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of raising three successful and talented children, an accomplishment of which I am exceptionally proud.

My overarching objective is to make a positive impact on the community, and I believe that the position at Truesdale Medical Center presents an ideal opportunity for me to contribute meaningfully.

Yashica Holmes-Smith

Mental Health Therapist

My name is Yashica Holmes-Smith (also known as Dr. Y), and I’m a psychologist and licensed professional counselor. I’m originally from Georgetown, SC, and spent many years living in Myrtle Beach, SC.
I have years of experience counseling, teaching, and conducting research in academic and clinical settings. My top areas of interest include women, gender, sexuality, relationships, and diversity (WGSRD).

Stacey Martell

LPN

I have been working in the medical field for almost 24 years, including work with geriatric, pediatric, and primary care. My husband and I moved to SC in 2021. I was lucky to find a job opportunity here at Truesdale, giving back and caring for our community. In my spare time, my husband and I like to take adventures all around Charleston, fishing, boating, and going to the beach as much as possible!!! I look forward to helping and providing excellent care to or community.
